ive tried selling on the internet (ebay and web store) that didnt work. should I try setting up at a flea market or farmers market?
Figure out why they didn’t sell online. Did you have traffic but not convert to sales? How does your product compare to the competition, is your price point similar to the competition? Was shipping or payment options a problem?
Before you spend energy on a new channel try to figure out why the Internet did not work.

I decided i would like to work at home because im a stay at home mom and i want to do somthing on my downtime. Im interested in a job from home where i can make things(candles, jewlery ect.) But i dont want to get suckered into a scam if anyone does somthing like this from home and could help me out that would be great. Thanks!!
I have done floral arranging and sold the items at craft shows, consignment shops, and even on ebay… but have found a company that has an awesome work from home program (NOT a scam)
There are many different work from home businesses that you can get into… Many offer a way to promote them on or off line.
I know our company can be done successfully either way (or using BOTH if you prefer) I love the versitility of it all. If you would like more details on what we do you may visit my site: http://learn2.momsmakemore.com
To help you in your search here is a little advice you should consider:
What should you look for in an "ideal" internet/home business?
- No or minimal start-up fees (Our business start-up is $29.00)
- A product or service you feel good about (Consumable products used in every home… safer, more effective, less expensive, things people use and need on a daily basis)
- A duplicable system (work FOR yourself- NOT BY yourself… we are a TEAM of individuals working to help others… “Enhancing the lives of those we touch by helping others reach their goals from Home!!!”
- Residual income (Residual Income PLUS bonuses for helping others!!!)
- Customizable web sites to promote your business (Free website for ALL Members)
- Free training and support (Free Company and TEAM Training… we will work with you to reach YOUR GOALS!!!)
- Free marketing materials and ideas (Our support team has 70 members who are there to help you every step of the way… Training and support from people who have been there and done that. Training provided via email, internet, or telephone)
- Company in business at least 18 months and in good standing with the Better Business Bureau (Inc 500 Company in business for over 20 years with over 700 Million in annual sales. As for the Better Business Bureau: “The Eastern Idaho and Western Wyoming division of the Better Business
Bureau recently presented Our Company AND CEO with its 2005 "Hall of Fame" award. This prestigious award honored Our Company for its example of ethics and integrity in
dealings with customers, employees, and the community. We have received many other Prestigious Awards.)

I am trying to think of everything I could get to make a survival kit. Everything must fit in a 5 gallon bucket because I was thinking of marketing them eventually. Nothing rediculous please. So far I have the following: first aid kit, flashlights, batteries, candles.
The hallmark number of hours a survival kit must last is 72 hours, however you must keep in mind that in many situations emergency personnel may be delayed for more than 72 hours. You must also be prepared to move from the disaster area on your own, and the kit would be better if it was portable. I have much backpacking and hiking experience, and I know a 5 gallon bucket is not so portable.
1 Emergency (space) blankets
2 Flashlight w/ extra batteries
3 battery powered radio w/ extra batteries
4 first aid kit
5 knife (my first rule is always have a knife on you where it is legal to carry one)
6 signal mirror
7 waterproof matches
8 iodine tablets for water purification (your kit is not big enough to carry water)
9 emergency candles (the 9 hour burn kind)
10 lighter (preferably Zippo w/ extra fluid. These are wind proof and will light after being submerged)
11 whistle
12 Small water proof containers (for pills and other essential personal items that you will need in a survival situation)
13 A list of items people will need to buy on their own (those cup-of-soup packets that you just add water are excellent for survival kits, power bars, etc.)
You must have a CPR barrier device in your first aid kit.

I need to know how can I start this without investing in a $1000.00 wax melter right off the bat-they say to not melt on the stove so what can I do? Also if I made candles, homemade pic frames and other home decor do you think I would do good selling these item?
Wax has a low-temperature flaming point (don't know the official term) — try using the defrost cycle on a microwave, being careful the first few tries. Another option is to use the old double-boiler method (one pot inside another, using water between them as the heat conductor, being extremely care not allow wax to come into contact with electric coil or flame of a burner. Remember, candles burn with a flame of the wax burning and you certainly don't want to burn yourself or your kitchen that way!!!! As for success, well the statistics for businesses is that only one in 5 make it past one year. If you feel very strongly, you might be one of the ones. If it is just an idea you like, I'd say you might try another idea.
