The non-majors use … The non-majors use the Sony VX1000 and the majors use the Sony VX2000. Us grad students use the Sony PD150, PD170, and the Panasonic DVX100. The DVX100 is the only one which will shoot in 24P. So the DVX100 shooting at 24P is what I prefer. The UM Journalism Department uses much higher end cameras.
